H.H. Sheikh Mansour opens 40th edition of ADIPEC

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, officially opened the 40th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) on Monday.

The event, which runs at the ADNEC Centre until November 7, is expected to attract over 200,000 visitors, including top innovators and experts from around the globe.

The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa from Bahrain.

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the significance of technological innovation in the energy sector.

A discussion session featured energy ministers from various countries, focusing on global energy challenges and advancements.

This year's ADIPEC theme, "Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy," underscores the UAE's commitment to fostering partnerships and integrating artificial intelligence solutions to support the transition to clean energy.

ADIPEC has introduced new features, including the Digitalisation and Technology Conference, which will explore how next-generation technologies can enhance efficiency and reduce emissions.

The exhibition spans 16 halls, showcasing over 2,200 exhibitors, including national and international oil companies and 30 country pavilions, all organised into specialized zones for AI, decarbonisation, digitalisation, and maritime logistics.
