South American country revealed as cheapest for expats

UAE expats looking for a cheaper lifestyle might have to move to South America to find it. A report from InterNations found that Ecuador is the most affordable country, followed closely by Poland and Czech Republic in second and third. The countries with the lowest costs of living are mainly located in South America and Central Europe, but Saudi Arabia bucked the trend by ranking 9th. On the other end of the spectrum, expats encountered the highest living costs in Mozambique, Nigeria and Brazil. The UAE came in at 37th.
