Passengers flying flydubai can now bid for a Business Class upgrade.

That's right. In a statement, the carrier said eligible passengers flying Economy will be notified via email when the bidding period has kicked in.

And, once their bid is accepted, the passenger will be able to pay the amount and receive an updated booking confirmation.

However, when an upgrade is not possible, the passenger will not be charged and will be able to continue as per the original itinerary.

Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, said: “flydubai is committed to investing in technology that enhances the passenger experience. By providing more options for flight upgrades we look forward to giving passengers additional choice and flexibility when flying with us and a unique opportunity to experience our Business Class product.”
