Work starts on Nakheel’s AED 5bn Deira Islands Boulevard development

Nakheel has started work on its AED 5 billion waterfront development in Dubai. Deira Islands Boulevard will feature two hotels, serviced apartments and 16 blocks of flats. Occupying 15.3 square kilometres of land – the size of 118 full-size football fields – the 20-tower scheme will surround Nakheel’s Deira Mall. Set for completion in the second half of 2020, Deira Islands’ design, construction and engineering will be supervised by consultants AE7.
