Adele has revealed her weight loss secret - giving up tea. The 27-year-old singer has "more energy than ever" after ditching the 10 aromatic beverages she used to down a day, each with two spoonfuls of sugar in, meaning she has cut out 20 teaspoons of sugar from her daily regime. She told The Sun newspaper: "I used to drink 10 cups a day with two sugars in each so I was on 20 sugars a day. "Now I don't drink it and I have more energy than ever." According to the UK's National Health Service (NHS) website, the government recommends adults shouldn't have more than 30g of added sugar a day - which equates to around seven teaspoons. Last month, Adele admitted she doesn't like going to the gym to exercise but doesn't mind lifting weights - although she is concerned the beauty regime might cause blood vessels on her face to burst. She said: "I'm not, like, skipping to the gym. I don't enjoy it. I do like doing weights. I don't like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels burst on my face really easily, so I'm so conscious when I'm lifting weights not to let them burst in my face. And if I don't tour, you'll catch me back down at the Chinese!"
