The UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has discussed the latest developments in the region with Michael Martin, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ireland.
During a call, the two ministers spoke about protecting civilians and securing relief and medical aid through urgent, safe humanitarian corridors.
They also discussed the ongoing regional and international efforts to end extremism and to rotect civilian lives from the fallout of the crisis.
The two sides underscored the importance of intensifying efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
