Dubai Police honoured a tourist from Estonia for her honesty in handing over a piece of gold jewellery she found in a popular tourist area.
Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, presented the certificate of appreciation and admired Marion Kaljon’s exemplary conduct and strong sense of responsibility.
“This act reflects the noble values of honesty and cooperation we aim to instill and celebrate within our community,” Brigadier Al Jallaf said.
According to the police, Kaljon immediately reported the lost jewellery she had found and handed it over to the Tourist Police, demonstrating "a commendable level of civic awareness and ethical behaviour".
Brigadier Al Jallaf emphasised that this initiative is part of Dubai Police’s commitment to promoting positive social values, enhancing community trust, and encouraging the public to support security and public safety actively.
“Such stories set a powerful example for others and reinforce our shared commitment to a safe and cooperative society,” he added.
