Dubai Press Club has launched a new podcast initiative following a groundbreaking report released at the Arab Media Forum.
The Arab Podcast Programme will be set up to support the podcast industry in various countries and is aimed at spearheading the production of audio content, with the participation of elite Arab writers, thinkers, leading content makers, and prominent media figures.

The report, Generating Insights into the Podcasting Industry in the Arab World, documents the evolution and growth of podcasting in Arab countries, offering comparisons with global trends, and highlights opportunities for further development while outlining recommendations for its development.
Dr. Maitha Buhumaid, Director of the Dubai Press Club, said that the issuance of the report coincides with the beginning of a new phase of regional podcast industry growth.
