The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq during a fraternal visit to Oman.
The two leaders met at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah, reaffirming the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Oman and exploring ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors.
They also discussed regional developments, including the recent Israeli attack on Qatar, strongly condemning the act and expressing full solidarity with the Qatari people.
The meeting touched on efforts to enhance Gulf Cooperation Council unity, with both leaders pledging continued support for initiatives that promote unity and prosperity across the region.
Sheikh Mohamed praised the historic bond between the UAE and Oman, rooted in the legacies of Sheikh Zayed and Sultan Qaboos, and expressed gratitude for the warm welcome extended by Sultan Haitham and the Omani people.
