Musaffah Bridge in the UAE capital reopened to traffic after being closed to carry out a security exercise.
Abu Dhabi Police took to their official social media handles to inform motorists that traffic "in both directions" has resumed.

Abu Dhabi Police inform motorists that traffic has resumed on Musaffah Bridge on both directions.#AbuDhabiPolice
The bridge was closed between 7:00 am and 9:00 am on Friday as Abu Dhabi Police carried out a "security exercise", in order to "test preparedness and enhance efficiency".

The bridge will be closed from 7am to 9am.
