Multiple radars have been installed across Umm Al Quwain as the police intensify their crackdown on speeding motorists.
The radars, installed on the highway and some interior roads, will help monitor violations and keep roads safer.
Signboards with revised speed limits have been put up, and drivers urged to follow the traffic rules.
According to the UAE Federal Traffic Law, motorists exceeding the speed limit of 80 km/hour will be penalised with a fine of AED 3,000, 23 black points and vehicle impoundment for 60 days.
