Over 3,100 workers to keep Dubai clean during Eid holidays

Dubai Municipality has assigned a team of 3,150 sanitation engineers, field supervisors and workers to handle waste management operations during Eid Al Adha holidays.

They are tasked with keeping the emirate's roads, residential areas, markets, beaches, waterways and public facilities clean.

  • The municipality has allocated 2,250 municipal sanitation engineers and 650 others from the private sector.
  • 250 supervisory and control staff members have been designated to monitor tasks and handle emergency field reports.
  • To manage a total of 2,300 km of main roads, the municipality has assigned a team of 165 supervisors and sanitation engineers. 
  • A field team including 91 staff and sanitation engineers have been allocated to ensure cleanliness of public beaches.
  • A total of 759 vehicles and equipment will be deployed for regular field programmes, offering support and responding to emergencies.

The municipality has urged the public to adhere to the guidelines, preserve public facilities, avoid barbecuing in green areas or littering in public places, and ensure proper waste disposal.
