The UAE has expressed its full solidarity with Kuwait following the foiling of a terrorist plot targeting a vital facility.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, praised Kuwaiti security authorities for uncovering the plot and arresting a Kuwaiti citizen linked to the Daesh terrorist organisation.
He reaffirmed the UAE’s support for all measures taken by Kuwait to protect its security, sovereignty and stability, and commended the vigilance and efficiency of its security forces.
Sheikh Abdullah also stressed the UAE’s firm rejection of all forms of terrorism and called for stronger regional and international cooperation to counter such threats.
