The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a military base in northwest of Pakistan on Tuesday, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated its firm rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability.
The Ministry expressed its condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan, and to the families of the victims, as well as its wishes of a speedy recovery for all the injured.
The attack, on Tuesday, was carried out by bombers, who drove two vehicles packed with explosives into the military base in Bannu district.
Pakistan's military said that the multiple blasts caused a partial collapse of the compound's outer wall, damaging nearby infrastructure. At least 13 civilians and five soldiers were killed in the attack.
