Fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to present a pre-departure negative PCR test result to enter the UAE.
Making the announcement, the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) said travellers must present an approved COVID-19 vaccination certificate containing a QR code instead.
Meanwhile, unvaccinated travellers will need to present a negative PCR test result with a 48-hour validity. They can also submit a health certificate (with a QR code) that details they recovered within a month of the travel date.
This will come into effect on February 26.
