President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday hosted a special reception in honour of South Korean leader Yoon Suk Yeol at Abu Dhabi's Qasar Al Watan.
The ceremony included a performance of the Korean national anthem, followed by 21-artillery rounds fired, and guards of honour lining up to salute the distinguished guest.
Prior to the arrival of the Korean President's convoy to the palace square, the Fursan Al Emarat aerobatics team flew over the palace sky, forming the Korean flag.
Yeol, who is on a multi-day state visit to the UAE, is accompanied by First Lady Kim Keon-hee and a high-level delegation.

The leaders also discussed various paths of cooperation and development in the investment, economic, scientific, cultural and advanced technology fields, in addition to renewable energy and other vital areas of interest within their two countries' future plans.
They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
