UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has discussed regional developments during a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden.
The call also highlighted the significance of COP28 in mobilising global cooperation to forge effective solutions to the climate crisis, ensuring a sustainable future for all nations.
The two leaders also reviewed the importance of working on a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and ensuring enduring and safe mechanisms to deliver humanitarian aid to the residents of the Strip without obstacles.
While welcoming the recent hostage deal, and humanitarian pause, they stressed the importance of finding a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East region on the basis of the two-state solution, to enhance security, stability and regional peace.
