Chelsea boosted their chances of finishing in the top-four of the Premier League, thanks to a 1-0 win over already-relegated Norwich City.

Veteran French striker Olivier Giroud scored the only goal of the match on the stroke of half-time.

With two more games to go this season, the result sees Frank Lampard's men hold on to the third spot in the table.

They sit four points above Leicester and Manchester United, who both play on Thursday.

Chelsea’s next match is its FA Cup semifinal against Manchester United (July 19), followed by a Premier League trip to champions Liverpool (July 22), and their final game is at home to Wolves on July 26.
