Roger Federer is set to face world number 73 Lorenzo Sonego in the first round at Roland Garros.

This will be Federer's first appearance at the French Open losing to Stanislas Wawrinka in the quarter-finals in 2015.

He's also in the same half of the draw as defending champion Rafael Nadal, who will play a qualifier, and could possibly set up a faceoff at the semi-finals.

Top seed Novak Djokovic, who is aiming to win all four majors for the second time in his career, will meet Poland's Hubert Hurkacz in the other half.
