DP World Tour stars Pádraig Harrington, Ryan Fox, and Thorbjørn Olesen, alongside regional golfing personalities, have taken part in an ambitious golf challenge - a 22-floor tee shot over 220 yards to a custom-built floating green in the Wynn Marina, Ras Al Khaimah - to raise AED1 million for charity.

Overlooking the waters of the Arabian Gulf, Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah served as the setting, 22 floors up.

Despite the world-class golfing line-up, the hole-in-one remained out of reach but Wynn donated the prize of AED1,000,000 in honour of the players' efforts and the shared commitment to giving back to the community.

Benefiting from the donation, Heroes of Hope, a local non-profit organisation, is dedicated to developing sporting, social, and interpersonal skills for People of Determination (PODs).

It's the largest sports academy for children and young adults with special needs in the UAE, offering over 18 versatile sports and fitness programmes weekly, including cycling, tennis, padel, basketball, and more.
